Transmission from the Magdalene Cave (Grotte Madeleine) in the Sainte-Baume mountains of southern France
Recently I made one of the more demanding hikes of my life. Now, I’m not an outdoorsman in any way, shape or form, so this was not a days-long, epic adventure in the wilderness, nor an ascent of the likes of Mt. Everest. Rather, it was an intense 45-minute uphill trek of broken stair remnants and steep, rocky trails to reach the Magdalene Cave in the heights of the Sainte-Baume mountains, located near Plan-d’Aups-Sainte-Baume, in southern France. For those of us unaccustomed to maneuvering mountain trails on distant continents, this was a pretty major undertaking.
It was here that I reached the pinnacle of an adventure I had begun more than a week prior. My friend Laura had been leading a small group on a sacred journey to connect with the energies of Mary Magdalene, the latter of whom lived in southern France following what we know as the crucifixion — and whose presence still resides with the land of the region.
Mary Magdalene is believed to have spent time in this cave later in life, and it along with the chapel now located within are both named in her honor.
My experience in the cave was interesting in that it happened at the end of the day when there were relatively few people around…and only a short stretch of open hours remaining. Timing was crucial.
The interior of the cave
Walking inside, I observed a small handful of other pilgrims, who were lighting candles and descending the short staircase to the bottom of the cave where drops of moisture accumulate to form a small pool. My heart was still pumping actively from the long climb, and my focus was mostly on attaining a point of calmness to interact with the cave environment.
I lit a candle, stood for a moment, and didn’t feel much. So I moved to one of the benches/pews in the main chapel for some quiet time.
The presence of Mother Mary
Just as had occurred throughout my journey, Mother Mary quickly made her presence known to me as I sat.
I’m not fully sure why but it was always she, not Mary Magdalene, who chose to reveal herself strongly to me during the days of my sacred pilgrimage. I don’t have all of the details yet, but I trust that her energy was the most relevant and beneficial to me for what I was processing and releasing on the journey, i.e. issues of blame and my own “right to speak and exist”, which had reared their heads quite apparently and been with me for many lifetimes.
I believe her presence of unconditional love was there the whole time to reassure and strengthen my own worth amid the path’s trials.
I was so glad for that presence.
I waited a few more minutes, enjoying the calm and relative silence of the chapel. I could tell from the sounds of the water drops and murmurs of the visitors that the cave chamber was highly resonant. I felt compelled to tone and sing.
Everyone had gone out, leaving me alone with the cave. So I started humming.
As soon as I began, I could feel that Light Language would be coming through in song. It only took a few seconds. I was elated, as I had hoped for this chance from the moment I had entered the cave but wasn’t sure time would allow visitors to leave before the chapel would close for the day.
Vowels and syllables quickly formed with Light Language that rang through me into the chamber. My voice felt alive and vibrant as the cavern amplified my intent in channeling the frequencies.
Never before had my voice sung out with such calmness and ease — and I have done a fair amount of singing in my life.
I felt great strength in singing the Light Language along with just as much softness and reverence. Divine Feminine power at work right there. (Thanks, Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary!)
Below is a link to a YouTube video of the transmission that I channeled during my visit to the cave.
The recording was made with my phone, so know that ahead of time in terms of the quality. You will, however, be able to hear some of the resonance of the chamber. I did not apply echo or reverb effects; the echo of the voice you hear is natural. A download of the transmission is available in the store if you’re interested in an audio file to use on your phone or device.
Many blessings and enjoy listening!
